By the time technology is offeriing new advantages and tools to support the teachers' work, different platforms to develop courses are appearing to facilitate both teaching and learning. To illustrate, a new way to carry out a course with students is moodle which is an area where different resources and activities are added by the teacher for the students to work and to follow a learning process in a specific matter. The moodle course can be a simple web page in which students have the opportunity to download documents or it also can be a more complex number of activities where learning progresses through interaction. The moodle courses are a valuable tool which permit learning not only to be on-site but it also can be from your house without spending too much time. In this article, the 5 things that teachers have to do to create a moodle course the first time are present to take into account and to do a really good job in the creation of the virtual course where students can find the information and support they need to have a successful learning process.
